Day & Night will mystify, enchant, and entertain you! It is magical! No smoke and mirrors: the technique is just totally awesome! The pattern is made from strips! The illusion is created by using the acrylic template, included in the back of the book. Eleanor offers variations on making a quilt with two or three contrasting colors. By using 3 or 4 fabric strips the blocks take on a whole new look!
Originally a difficult paper pieced pattern, Eleanor and Michelle took this time-consuming design and made it quick. Two additional projects can be made from the cut-aways. A Mini Star Quilt and Spider Web Quilt are easily made from the scraps.
Full yardage and cutting charts are included for quilt sizes Tablerunner to King Size. The step by step illustrations include cutting directions for left handers as well as right handers. There is a section included to assist with fabric selection, color and scale of print. The book has a gallery of quilts to admire and inspire.
